guys wintersday past chest frops items aviable from past wintersdays events...in 2008 2007 will be the past so theoretically.......well who knows im getting ahead of myself here but i hope anet thinks of this

on the quests, dwaynas side is pretty easy (you can run to the end) but is there anyway to speed up grenths side? it seems there's no choice but to go slow or you'll waste your mob away too quickly making this tedious as hell.

You shouldnt even need to do grenths :x i just abandon the quest once i finish it and then start it over

And what about all those people who have Factions and EotN but not the other two?

I will agree with you that it's (the mini) probably doubled as an incentive for people who don't have EotN to buy it. But when things like this happen I'm actually less likely to buy the product if I don't already have it as it's not fair to some and does nothing but piss me off.

LOL. I gave up on "luck" items awhile ago.

32 months played and still never better than a common white birthday present. One of the many reasons I don't think gw2 will be on my pc.

Anet you have no problem trashing rarity on weapon skins yet you leave mini pets in game that inspire Ebay purchases .. feel free to explain the sense in that.

I'll have to recheck wiki, but I thought these snowman lair quests were only doable if you had EotN.

To whomever cites items being given unfairly in Guild Wars, I have yet to find a single example of an item that "ruins" a game that not everyone get. You have failed to come up with a REASON why it RUINS the game. If I don't own Nightfall, I can't get Mallyx... If I don't own Factions, I can't get a Lion's Head... I don't own the BMP and I can't get the special weapons. Would I complain if those were the case (which only the BMP is), no, because they don't affect my gaming because I didn't purchase the content Anet got us. Its called not being a cheapass and getting something you might enjoy. ANet is not here to give you everything for free.

Sheesh.

Just accept the reward, switch districts and you can re-do the quest immediately.

They are only doable if you have EotN (and Prophecies or Nightfall). That's the point. Not sure what you're getting at. You may have misunderstood something in the post.
